The Marie Curies Helper Service provides trained volunteers to support anyone residing in Camden, Islington and 8 other boroughs living with a terminal illness. Its volunteers offer everything from companionship and a friendly ear, through to helping someone get to a doctor’s appointment.
This service is totally free, simply aiming to improve the lives of people living with a life limiting illness. So if you know someone within your community who is suffering with a life limiting illness who might find this service useful, you can refer them to Marie Curie or point them in the right direction. Self-referrals are also accepted, to make it even easier.
