Earlier in the year, a planning application from Deliveroo to put kitchens and a delivery unit in premises in FInchley Road was refused by Camden Council. There is to be an appeal and the Society has joined other resident bodies, including Save Swiss Cottage and the Combined Residents’ Associations of South Hampstead, in opposing Deliveroo.Â
The application was refused because of traffic effects, the paucity of the proposals for the community to have input after operations begin, and concerns about the odours affecting nearby properties.
