Welcome to the Belsize website

Belsize is an attractive residential suburb in North West London between Hampstead and Primrose Hill.

The Belsize Residents Association (BRA) is a non-profit and non-political organisation.  We seek to preserve the character of the area by keeping a close eye on planning and environment issues. We work with local public bodies to improve the quality of local services and we promote a greater sense of community by providing information about local issues and holding social events.

Our members are drawn mainly from the area between Lyndhurst and Adelaide Roads from north to south and between Fitzjohn's Avenue and the approaches to Fleet Road from west to east. .

Our current priorities include:  (updated May 22nd 2013)

  • Hampstead Police Station. It has been decided to close Belsize Police Station. For more information about a range of changes to local police services please see BRA Policies
  • Belsize Fire Station - proposed closure. For more information on action meetings and consultations please see BRA Policies.
  • Camden's Local List of Architectural AssetsTo view the BRA Fourteen nominations, please see BRA Links.
  • Recycling - Camden is introducing wheelie bins for some properties in summer 2013. For more details see BRA Policies

NOTE:  Camden has a web site devoted to CONSULTATIONS  -- future, current and past.  Have a look at the website in External Links.

For more information about the BRA's origins, activities, and current priorities please see Belsize Residents Assoc page which includes a section on Policies.
